Principal Scientist

Dr. Bao Le is an emergent molecular biologist with nearly 10 years of experience in RNA Therapeutics. He has a great interest in oligonucleotide-based drug discovery from target selection up to IND stage and beyond.
Bao holds a PhD in Molecular and Biomedical Sciences from Murdoch University, Perth, Australia, specializing in splice switching antisense oligonucleotides (SSOs). He gained drug development skills and experiences through his roles in both academia and industry. His previous roles directly involve state-of-the-art development of SSO therapy for inherited and acquired conditions such as type 2 diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and solid cancers. 
Bao has published nearly 20 scientific publications in the field of SSO looking at fine-tuning the SSO design using various chemically modified analogues. 
Bao joined RAGE Biotech in 2024 as Principal Scientist focusing on discovery and nonclinical research development.
