RB007 injection for chronic kidney disease​

RB007 is an injectable RNA therapeutic, a 'splice-switching oligonucleotide' or SSO, which inhibits RAGE and increases esRAGE in the kidney. esRAGE is a naturally occurring, anti-inflammatory spliceoform of RAGE.

RB007 is under investigation for chronic kidney disease, including diabetic kidney disease.

RB007 is designed to switch the equilibrium back towards healthy levels of esRAGE in damaged areas of the kidney, inhibit pro-inflammatory RAGE signalling, and protect the kidney against further damage.
