RBr021 injection for chronic liver disease​

RBr021 is an injectable RNA therapeutic, a 'splice-switching oligonucleotide' or SSO, which inhibits RAGE and increases esRAGE in the liver. esRAGE is a naturally occurring, anti-inflammatory spliceoform of RAGE.

RBr021 is under investigation for chronic liver diseases including MAFLD and autoimmune hepatitis.

RBr021 is designed to switch the equilibrium back towards healthy levels of hepatic esRAGE, inhibit pro-inflammatory RAGE signalling, and protect the liver against further damage.
