SIRO PEREZ

Siro is Head of Life Sciences at IP Group Australia and has over 19 years of international experience across the whole R&D, commercialization, and investment process in life sciences. He brings a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship, most recently having been the co-founder and CEO of the University of Queenslands spin out company Molecular Warehouse.

Siro gained investment experience at leading global hedge and VC funds, and previously worked as Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group. He started his career in drug research and development at Novartis.

Siro holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School, a PhD summa cum laude in Molecular Biology and a MSc in Chemistry with honours from the Autonoma University of Madrid and studied Computer Science Engineering at UNED. He speaks English, German, and Spanish fluently.
